About this activity

Are you a thrill-seeker looking for a heart-pumping adventure? Look no further than skydiving over Kenya’s breathtaking coastline! This activity promises an unforgettable experience that combines the adrenaline rush of freefalling from an airplane with the jaw-dropping beauty of the Indian Ocean, white sandy beaches, and lush green forests.

From an altitude of 10,000 to 14,000 feet, you’ll leap out of the plane and feel the rush of wind as you plummet towards the ground at an incredible speed. The sensation of freefalling is exhilarating and will leave you breathless. But don’t worry, after about 40-50 seconds of pure adrenaline, your parachute will open, and you’ll gently glide back down to earth while enjoying the stunning views.

As you float down towards the ground, take a moment to appreciate the panoramic views of the coastline. The crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean, the pristine white sands of the beaches, and the verdant green forests will all be laid out before you, providing a bird’s-eye view of Kenya’s stunning landscape.

Skydiving over Kenya’s coastline is not only a thrilling adventure, but it’s also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the natural beauty of this incredible country. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your gear, muster your courage, and take the plunge into a world of excitement and wonder!

Frequently asked questions

The time mentioned in your booking confirmation is your arrival time, it is not your skydive time. If you are booked for 10:00 am, please arrive at 10:00 am. Bring a valid ID. Whilst we endeavour to complete your skydive within 3-4 hours, skydiving can be a full-day activity. Please allow for unforeseen delays due to events such as unfavourable weather and air traffic control.

Please dress suitably and comfortably for your skydive. Athletic, comfortable clothes are advised Sneakers or sport shoes are ideal for your skydive. Please make sure your shoes don't have any buckles or studs on them Not allowed: Sandals, boots or heeled/platform shoes of any type. Customers are advised to remove any jewelry, watches and other accessories before their skydive. These can be placed in the free personal lockers at our locations. Every customer will be given protective eye goggles to wear during their skydive. So, if you need to wear prescription glasses or lenses during your skydive, please do so. You don't want to miss that view!

All aviation activity is dependent on suitable weather conditions, of which we mostly have on Kenyan coast. However, weather conditions such as rain, heavy low cloud or high winds can all prevent your skydive going ahead. If you cannot complete your skydive due to weather conditions you will be able to arrange another date. You have up to 12 months from your original jump date in which to re-book your skydive.

It is against skydiving regulations for tandem skydive passengers to wear a camera during the jump. For this reason, it’s not possible to film your own skydive experience. Don’t worry! The Skydive Swahili Team have got you covered… You can add a Video package to your skydive booking on jump day (there is no need to pre-book this.) Of course, you and your family are welcome to use your own cameras to capture the skydive preparation and parachute landings.

The simple answer is that all skydivers carry a main and a reserve parachute. If the main parachute fails to open the reserve would be used. During your tandem skydive this procedure will be done by your Instructor. In addition to the two canopies there is an automatic device known as an Automatic Activation Device (AAD), which would open the reserve parachute if the instructor were unable to do so.

Yes, tipping is greatly appreciated, if you enjoy your skydive you may tip your instructor! A tip is a great way of communicating your satisfaction with your jump.
