Turtle Bay is one of Kenya’s finest all-inclusive hotels. It offers a 200 meters sandy beach and easy access to the Watamu National Marine Park. The hotel features 145 rooms, three restaurants, three bars, a conference center, an excursion desk, and an activity pool. Moreover, it has a quiet pool (adults only), a children’s pool, and the Turtle Bay Dive and Watersport Center. All set on 10 acres of tropical grounds. Also, Turtle Bay has a separate bath/shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, a mosquito-proof sleeping area, telephone, TV, hairdryer, and a balcony or patio are all included in the Clubrooms. Tea and coffee-making facilities, as well as a safe deposit box. Some rooms have interconnecting doors and have a double and a single bed.
Turtle Bay offers breakfast, lunch, supper, snacks from 2-6 pm, 4 pm pancakes, buffet style, and oven-fresh pizzas are all included. Up until 12.30 a.m., all soft drinks, selected wines, cocktails, spirits, and beer are included. The hotel has a fully supervised children’s club for children aged 4 to 12. It’s open every day. A babysitting service is available for an additional fee. During the day, there is entertainment, and at night, there are discos.
Snorkelling, boogie boards, windsurfing trials, canoes/kayaks, pedal boats, stand-up paddleboards, and a free scuba diving trial in the pool are available at the Turtle Bay Dive (Padi) and Watersport Center on a daily basis. At an additional cost, an advanced windsurfing kit and modern windsurfing are offered. Scuba diving in the Marine Park and coral reefs are fantastic. There are night dives available.
Visit local landmarks like the Gede Ruins and the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest, or go dolphin watching or deep sea fishing. Enjoy a sundowner on one of Turtle Bay’s dhow rides on Mida Creek, a region famed for its birdlife, or relax on board while watching the sunset with wonderful snacks and drinks.
