The villa is an ultra-modern design and architecture, complete with an infinity plunge pool and expansive glass doors that reflect the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The villa also features a private rooftop and lounge area, a cozy fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and living room, and much more. You will not need to sacrifice your daily comforts to enjoy this villa. The villa is perfect for couples, 2-3 friends, or a solo traveler, seeking a serene getaway.

Getting there: The villa is located only a 1-hour drive from Karen, driving through Kiserian. There are multiple supermarkets and restaurants along your way and in Kiserian to buy groceries and anything you will need.
Check-in: Our staff in the compound will check you in on arrival, and give you your door code. The ideal time to arrive is in the late afternoon to catch the sunset. We request you arrive at 9pm latest to release the staff.
Guests: The villa is most ideal for 2-people, but can accommodate up to 3 people. The bedroom is fitted with a huge king-size bed, and there is a sofa bed that can accommodate a third person. Please indicate the number of guests accurately when booking, as this will be confirmed at check-in. If you are a larger group, check back later for more of our villas coming up.
Children: While the house can accommodate children, please note that the house is not child-proof, and there is a pool. Other areas like the rooftop may also pose a safety risk for young children. If you choose to come with a child under 12, you will need to sign a waiver form at check in.
Housekeeping is after every 2 days. If more or less frequent cleaning is desired, please communicate this request.
Food: Please note the villa is self-catering. Food options are:
– You can buy groceries or cooked food and come with them to the Villa. Shops are 18km away in Kiserian, so most people come with all the groceries they need and not have to leave the villa. You can cook or grill at the house. If you want to barbecue, remember to bring a bag of charcoal or briquettes – this is sold in supermarkets, or you can buy from us.
– You can order food or groceries from restaurants and supermarkets in Kiserian. Note because of the distance, this may take an hour or more. A list of restaurants to order from and riders (boda bodas) who can bring the food will be shared with you at check-in.
– You can request a chef and coordinate with them the meals you would like to have. We have a list of chefs we can suggest, or you can bring your own.
Activities:
– In the house you can relax and enjoy the view from the balcony or rooftop, relax in the pool, play games, read, watch Netflix or stream your shows, laze around in the yard, however best you choose to relax! A good number of people choose to just relax around the house.
More active activities include:
– Walking or hiking around the compound – bring your sneakers or hiking boots
– Walking or hiking around the neighborhood: explore the neighborhood’s trails and nature gems
– Biking – there are some amazing paths you can enjoy – bring your bike!
Day trip options include:
– Hiking on Ngong Hills
– Visit the Maasai Ostrich Farm
– Visit one of the popular nyama choma restaurants Kiserian is known for – Ole Polos, Olooltepes, Lesiolo, etc.
– Visit Lake Magadi and if you are feeling fancy, enjoy a helicopter ride around the lake
– Visit a Maasai family and enjoy a Masai Experience and BBQ – you can book this activity on Airbnb Experience
Guests have access to the villa, its compound, and the rest of the property.
The last stretch of road to Champagne Ridge and the villa is 15km of off-road from Kona Baridi. The road is generally fine and usable most times, but we recommend you come with a high car if you can, and during the rainy season (March/April and October/November), to use a 4-wheel drive car.
The villa can only accommodate a maximum of 3 people. If you are a bigger group, check back later for more of our villas coming up soon.
If you choose to come with kids under 12, you will be required to sign a liability waiver form.
Champagne Ridge and the villa are surrounded by nature and moderate wildlife, which you might encounter here, or on your way, including cows, goats, sheep, deer, monkeys, zebra, insects, etc. While you will be shielded from most of these at the villa, if this bothers you, Champagne Ridge may not be the place for you.
