A uniquely designed modern villa on three levels. In a gated community, a parings and a common pool are popular with kids and adults alike. Only 6 minute’s walk to the beach! Diani has been rated the best beach in the world, three years in a row. The local people are honest and friendly. Transport is plenty in 3-legged “tuk tuks” (rickshaws) available and flexible. Concierge/caretaker services within the compound can offer shopping and cooking help at a reasonable fee.
The space
You can either cook your meals or eat in a variety of local restaurants that are a “tuk tuk” (rickshaw) ride away, or wine and dine at more modern-style restaurants and hotels nearby. The compound is secure, quiet, and homely. The house help within the compound will do the general cleaning of the house and linen but is flexible to perform other household tasks if required, at a negotiated minimal fee.
Guest access
You will have the entire 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and attic, kitchen, living room, backyard, and “to die for” Pagoda with 3 swing chairs that can seat 7, to yourselves. The house help will need access to all areas for cleaning purposes but only at your convenience.
Other things to note.
There are other house owners in the compound who mostly come only during the school holiday months. The developer of the houses also lives in the next house and is very friendly and helpful too. You’ll love your stay here, I promise!
