About this tour

Tusitiri Dhow, originally handcrafted as a traditional trading vessel over 50 years ago, has undergone meticulous restoration. Today, it stands as a majestic and luxurious option for dhow safaris in the Lamu Archipelago. Chartering Tusitiri offers exclusive use for multi-night safaris accommodating up to 12 guests, with the option for day trips from Lamu for up to 25 guests. Perfect for families or groups of friends, life onboard revolves around Tusitiri’s spacious deck, providing stunning ocean views, serene spots for relaxation, and day-cabins below deck for storage and changing. Guests can partake in a variety of water sports and activities during the day. Following dinner, the crew sets up white linen bedrolls on deck, offering a unique star-bed experience for all guests. As an exclusive-use, open-air, live-aboard boat.
