On this 7 day flying safari takes you to Kenya’s most prolific game parks – the Amboseli National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve.
The flights will take you to Amboseli National Park followed by Masai Mara Game Reserve and back to Nairobi. The flight option is faster and will give you an opportunity to maximize your time in the parks.
The game drives are conducted in a shared vehicle in the morning and late afternoon as per the schedule of the lodge / camp. Incase you prefer to use the vehicle on exclusive use, you will be required to pay a surcharge subject to the availability of the vehicle.
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and safari driver guide. If you wish to change money into the local currency it would be advisable if you do it while at the airport. You will then be transferred to your city hotel. Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight with Air Kenya aviation to Amboseli National Park departing at approx. 0730 hours to arrive Amboseli at approx. 0800 hours. Upon arrival pick up by the lodge vehicle and transfer to the lodge. Rest of the program as per the schedule of the lodge. Meals & overnight at AMBOSELI SERENA SAFARI LODGE.
Full day in Amboseli National Park National Park with activities as per the schedule of the lodge. Amboseli National Park is known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. Meals & overnight at AMBOSELI SERENA SAFARI LODGE.
After breakfast you will be transferred to Amboseli airstrip for your flight with Mombasa Air to Masai Mara Game Reserve departing at approx. 0900 hours to arrive Masai Mara at 1030 hours. Upon Arrival in Masai Mara, you will be picked from the airstrip and transfer to your camp. Afternoon game drives in the reserve in a shared vehicle. Meals & overnight at MARA BUSH CAMP
Full days in Masai Mara Game Reserve with activities as per the schedule of the camp. Masai Mara National Reserve is considered a "must see" for any new visitor traveling on a safari to Kenya. It is known to boost the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa making it great for game viewing throughout the year. The Reserve is famous for it's huge herds of Wildebeest and Zebra which migrate through Maasai Mara from the Serengeti around June-October each year. Meals & overnight at MARA BUSH CAMP
Morning program as per the schedule of the camp. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip in Masai Mara for your flight to Nairobi departing at approx. 1100 hours to arrive Nairobi at approx. 1200 hours. Upon arrival, pick up from Wilson airport and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your out bound flight.
