Pick Up

We’ll be up early for a busy safari day, traveling along the Malindi-Sala Gate Road on a picturesque drive while enjoying the sunrise on the way

As we venture into Tsavo East for our first game drive, we're greeted by its expansive skies and rugged terrain. The sparsely vegetated plains make spotting animals easier, aided by your experienced driver/guide with their sharp instincts for tracking wildlife. Our search begins for the resident elephants, often seen dusting themselves with the park's red-oxide soil, lending them a rust-colored hue. These majestic creatures frequent the park's watering holes, where we may also encounter zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife quenching their thirst. Midday calls for a break, and we'll enjoy lunch at one of the safari lodges or tented camps nestled within the park. This pause offers a glimpse into the accommodations available for future safaris, should you wish to return. Our adventure continues with another drive, this time exploring for more big game and the smaller yet equally captivating species like elands, gerenuks, and impalas. Tsavo East's vast expanse ensures there's never a dull moment in spotting wildlife. As the day draws to a close, it's time to make our way back to the coast. Anticipate arriving in Malindi/Watamu around 6 pm, concluding our exhilarating day amidst nature's wonders.
