Your safari journey begins from Nairobi in the early morning. Your private vehicle will pick you up from your accommodation, and you'll start the drive towards the wild beauty of the Maasai Mara, arriving at the Mara Bush Camp in time for a warm, delectable lunch. After you've settled into your Safari Tent, you'll be invited for a delightful afternoon tea and coffee. Once you've been refreshed and acquainted with the surroundings, it's time to experience your first game drive. Hop into your exclusive-use 4x4 vehicle and venture into the wild with our expert guide, exploring the vast expanses of the Maasai Mara. Dinner will be served back at the camp, after which you can relax by the fire or retire to your tent for a peaceful night's sleep to the soundtrack of the African bush.
Rise early for a morning game drive, witnessing the break of dawn over the vast plains of the Maasai Mara - truly a sight to behold. Your half-day game drive will be extended with a picnic breakfast in the heart of the wilderness. Enjoy your meal while surrounded by the pure and breathtaking wilderness. After the exciting morning in the bush, return to camp for a leisurely lunch and some downtime. Relax, catch up on some reading, or enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. After your tea and coffee, you'll embark on your second scheduled game drive of the day in the afternoon. This is a great chance to spot any animals you may have missed in the morning. The game drive will last until sunset, providing opportunities to witness the wildlife as they become more active in the cooler evening. Return to the camp for a delicious dinner. Finish your day by sharing stories of your adventures around the campfire under the clear African starlit sky.
The last day of your safari starts with an early breakfast, followed by one last game drive through the Mara. Keep an eye out for those last sightings and photo opportunities. On your return to camp, pack your bags and enjoy a fond farewell from the staff. Your 2-night Soroi Mara Bush Camp Drive-in Safari ends as we drop you back at your accommodation in Nairobi. Please note that meals can be packed for your journey upon request, ensuring you never go hungry. All transfers from Nairobi, 2 nights’ accommodation in a luxury tent at Soroi Mara Bush Camp, three days of game drives (two per day plus one half-day), gourmet meals, afternoon tea, campfire snacks, park entry fees, and services of our expert driver-guides.
Essentials include neutral-tone clothing (layers for cool mornings and warm afternoons), a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, comfortable closed-toe shoes, a light rain jacket (seasonal), a camera with extra batteries/cards, and any personal medications.
Yes—a family-friendly option. Children aged 5 and above are welcome, and our tents can be configured with extra single beds. Note that morning drives start early (around 6:30 AM), so younger children should be prepared for early wake-ups.
June to October is peak season (dry weather and the Great Migration), but wildlife viewing is excellent year-round. April–May is the rainy season, when game drives may be rescheduled due to heavier showers.
